Bushnell PowerView 12x50 binoculars.

I find these are not a good choice for most bird watching. They are too heavy and powerful to hold steady. The minimum focusing distance is too long and sharpness is a bit of an issue. If there was a way of attaching to a tripod it would be desirable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
