[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the T15g to replace an aging Ideapad Y510p /w twin GT755m's. Boy howdy, what a difference. The keyboard is much better than the Ideapad, as I was told regarding Thinkpad laptops. I personally could live without the TrackPoint, but it is by no means in the way. Going from twin GT755m's to an RTX2070 is, obviously, an enormous leap forward, and I've taken great advantage of the Thinkpad's companion product, the Thunderbolt Dock. Two extra monitors, only one extra cable to the laptop. And for the more paranoid among us, there's a little sliding cover for the webcam lens.
Overall, would definitely buy again. Solid performance for the money.

Great laptop

The new redesigned cooling system keeps the processor and graphics card much cooler than previous Lenovo P series workstation laptops, even under a combined load of the graphics card and the processor it manages to run Intel's insanely hot processor at decent frequencies while having more than enough cooling for the graphics card. The new performance mode is also a necessary addition to keep the laptop cool under high loads. The RTX 2080S performs well while staying cool. The 4k IPS screen looks great, movies looks really good on this screen. The speakers are about average. This is a great laptop if you get it on sale and it is a great alternative to the P15.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] T15g screen looks nice and CPU is fast enough.But it won't be able to recharge battery out of the box so I had to send it back. In addition the charger is big and heavy. Very disappointing!

Unstable screen and keeps flickering - cannot work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Defective screen, cannot work. I am surprised how they shipped the laptop without testing. Even after updating the bias, updating all drivers including graphics drivers, and updating the Windows to the latest patches, still the screen keeps flickering, both horizontal and vertical. I am not able to work on this laptop since I received it. Raised support ticket, and they are expected to replace the screen; until then the laptop is not usable.
No issue found with any other part of the laptop, so far.

It is fast and great to work with and perfect amount of USB's for other peripherals and located in the back which is what I like instead of occupying so much of the sides. My preference of course.
