Fantastic laptop with lots of power - ThinkPadT15g

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing laptop with plenty of power. I'm an architect and all my software (rhino, adobe suite, revit, autocad) runs well. Rendering images also works pretty well and gaming is smooth too. The only things I don't like are the ctrl and alt keys are swapped which isn't the best for ergonomics, the bezels are a bit wide on the screen, and the finger print scanner doesn't work super well (but I have yet to see a laptop which has a good finger print scanner).
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Great, but Large and Occasionally Loud Laptop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy having this ThinkPad (coming back after a few years with another brand). The keyboard is comfortable, the display is good (assuming you are looking for "just" full HD), it performs well, and critically for me it has slots for two M.2 hard drives into which I was able add a 2TB drive I already had. I have only only two complaints. First, it is very thick (I had expected it thicker than my previous laptops, I just had not internalized that there still were 15" laptops as thick as this one). The second issue is that its cooling fan can be quite loud. While just typing this review up the laptop went from silent to pretty loud and then back to silent. I would have greatly preferred a longer, but quieter run of the fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] still testing. good quality video. download, upload and overall speed is fair but wouldn't say great.this while connected directly to the router with RJ45 Cat 6. may have to bump up from 32gb ram to 128gb and see. this particular thinkpad comes with 6 cores.
there's another model with 8 core thatmight be faster but that one does not have touch screen. will continue to evaluate the laptop.

This laptop has an awesome video card which is the main reason why I got this laptop. Games like Call of Duty: Cold War, please seamlessly. It's a little thicker than most laptops but I knew that prior to purchasing it. I'll be using this not only for gaming, but work, and multimedia production. Love this laptop!
