A good choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The T15G laptop is of one of the best laptop in the market. To having a decent GPU and appears, T15G is a correct choice than traditional gaming laptops. However, it only has two SSD slots in such a big machine, which is a waste of space. In addition, thinkpad should put a note on the keyboard that using THINK VANTAGE to update the hardware drivers first before using "microsoft windows upgrade" to achieve a better performance. Overall, I am quite satisfy with my choice.
I once download a machine re-installer. However, it prevent me to purchase a recovery USB. This is really not necessary for the customer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a ThinkPad T15 (15”) less than a month ago and already had to update the BiOS. Also the battery gets extremely hot. Thinking about returning this laptop.

Super powerful laptop. Terrible webcam.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My T15g has the 6 core Core i7 10750, 32GB of RAM, 1TB SSD, and a GeForce RTX 2080 Super Max-Q. Beast of a system that was priced at $2,129 pre-built, which I think is a great price considering the specs and quality of the laptop.
Build Quality: The quality is amazing. The laptop feels sturdy and durable, with no deck flex, or any other quality issues. My only complaint is that the black material on the outside, and inside get smudgy, and is hard to clean.
Keyboard: This is one of the best ThinkPad keyboards I've ever used, and an improvement over the ones used on the X1 Carbon. The only weird thing is that the numpad feels worse than the rest of the keyboard, which is a strange inconsistency.
Screen: My laptop came with the 1080p screen. The colors are fine, and I have no issues with the image quality. However, it doesn't seem to reach its full 500 nits of advertised brightness, but is adequate for use in a bright room or even outside. The other thing I'd love to see fixed on the next few versions is the bezels. They are HUGE side to side, top, and bottom. This could EASILY be a 16 inch screen with 1440p resolution if they made the bezels as thin as they are in their other laptops.
Webcam: Awful. Everything looks incredibly fuzzy no matter how good the lighting is. I don't know how this is acceptable in a business laptop. My old iPhone 4 from 2013 has a much, much better front camera.
Serviceability: Really, really good. There is a small service panel under the laptop secured by one screw. opening it lets one easily upgrade RAM, and add an additional M.2 2280 SSD. Replacing the battery is harder, involving removing the entire bottom cover, but no more difficult than any other laptop. This is not a disposable laptop, and can be upgraded in maintained easily in the future.
The laptop performs as expected for something with these specs. Office apps feel super smooth even while on battery power in the "better battery" power mode. battery life can reach as high as 5-6 hours with light office tasks with some video sprinkled in, which surprised me.
Gaming performance is great, and a lot of games can be played at full 4k resolution on an external display. The laptop gets loud, but if you use headphones, or have the volume cranked up, its no louder than a game console running at full tilt.
Data applications such as PowerBI also run very quickly, especially when the laptop is plugged in.
Overall, this is a really well built and well specced laptop if you can get it at the right price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good laptop, no complaints so far. I dual booted this with Manjaro Linux and it had no issues with either OS. The track pad is nice, and the gesture software that comes with the windows builds are nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this after my old computer of 14 years started to die. What czn I say? It's perfect for everything I need to do on it. I run the entire adobe suite, zbrush, c4d, protools and blender and the machine just asks "is that all you got?"
It makes my old machine seem like a brick in comparison.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most of the time the fan is very silent and when the GPU 2070 maxQ kiks in the fan isnt that loud comparing with my last laptop, so it doesn't bother me at all.
The built-in quality is impressive too. I upgraded with more 64GB of RAM, so it's the best PC I've ever had. It's totally worth it. (I haven't fully tested the battery yet, but it looks like can handle 2 hours of regular work, which is fine for me).
