[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great laptop. I also have a Mac, but I bought this to do some CAD work that is only available on Windows. I had a low-end Windows laptop, but it just couldn't handle CAD. This ThinkPad had no problem with it. I chose the ThinkPad because I used to have one for work and always like it. Is seems very sturdy and well made.

Absolutely Excellent Laptop With Just 2 Drawbacks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine runs perfectly. From a performance perspective, I can't really ask anything more of it. When I give it heavy loads to overcome, it really chews them up and just asks for more. There are plenty of ports to support your needs, the screen is bright and brilliant, the keyboard is smooth and accurate, and it is very sturdy. My only complaints about it would be the weight - It is extremely heavy compared to my T580 that is only a little less robust in specs, and it gets extremely hot. It has never overheated on me, but be sure to be careful if you actually try to use this on your lap. Otherwise, don't hesitate!
