[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased a Thinkpad T15g for use at the office. I had been using another brand laptop but frequently had system lags and freezes. Those issues were causing loss of work due to the number of times I would have to completely restart my laptop. I decided to give Lenovo a try. I could not be happier with this new laptop. It is blazing fast and has been able to handle everything I've thrown at it. I went with the pre configured system and it arrived withing 2 business days.
I did end up having to buy a specific docking station for this model as the type c dock I already had would not charge it through the type c cable as it did with the other laptops I was using on it. That being said the Lenovo Thunderbolt 3 workstation works perfectly and was a worthwhile purchase.
If I had to complain about anything it would be the battery life. It could be a little longer given the size and weight of the system. That being said choosing to have a laptop with an i9 CPU, and running an RTX series video card requires allot more power than a standard business model laptop.
Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend this model to anyone that heavily relys on their laptop doing what they need it to do when they want it to do it and not have to wait.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is a beast (bigger/heavier than I suspected). Bought off line but as someone who's starting a business and continues to learn technology and programming languages I can't imagine not getting a good machine. I just recently received it a couple of weeks ago and am finding little delights such as much easier screen control, keyboard control and has a great numeric keypad. the fact that there is a dedicated way to turn off keyboard back lighting is impressive. My last pc was an i7 core w/ 16 gig, this is just so much faster. Looking forward to photography again as this will be great for editing images. This is probably easily more than 2 to 3 times the machine my office gave me! Buying it on-line, I will say it's bigger and heavier than my consumer oriented last pc, but I'm feeling like this is an industrial pc that feels more solid and is like a heavy duty pickup truck. Stout and strong. It's weight has surprised me but I don't use it on the road so it's great desktop replacement for sure!

I got this laptop to replace an aging T480, with the hopes of better performance and a better display. Overall I'm pretty happy with the laptop, it's definitely fast and the display is nice too.
What I don't like about it is the insane power consumption (it won't work with any power supply that provides less than around 200W) and the short battery life.
The PSU issues means that I cannot reuse any of the adapters that I used to have from my previous Thinkpads (of which I have a lot), and it also means that any PSU is not only expensive but also large and heavy.
The battery life issue is a light pain too, because even on battery saver mode when I'm not doing anything CPU intensive, the laptop will at most last about 3 hours, which doesn't even get me through half a day. It's even less if you start doing somewhat CPU intensive tasks.
I did get this device because I'm out and about a lot, but if I have to settle somewhere for more than 2 hours I need to find an outlet.
