[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great machine. Using this for structural engineering design work and so far it has handled AutoCAD, Risa, and Enercalc without any problems. Battery life is pretty good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Runs like a dream, I did have issues running certain games and software with certain graphics settings due to the UHD display, but once that was worked out I was set. Make sure it’s got room to breathe as well, it warms up even when closed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this one, It is very old school type of laptop. I use It to do AI training And gaming. It is awesome.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Poor thermals with heavy throttling Even when Idle sometimes. Definitely not for gaming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I custom-ordered almost the max. configuration (no touch screen, i9-10885H CPU, 2TB SSD) and it arrived a few weeks before the estimated delivery. I haven't spent a whole lot of time with it yet, so this is more a "first impressions" kind of review. I am "downgrading" from a 17" P71, a laptop that has served me well for the past 3 years, but that was heavy and bulky and thus not very travel-friendly. I often ride a motorcycle to work and wanted something that is a bit lighter in the back pack, without compromising on performance. The T15g seems to do this.
The subjective performance is good, and the WEI score of 9.1 confirms this. The look and feel is consistent with past Lenovo T- or P-series laptops. Keyboard and track point are of the usual quality. The display is great, but getting older (and the reduced eye sight that comes with it) makes the screen less and less important for me. I will almost always run this with external monitors anyway. That said, the absence of a mini display port connection got me a bit worried, but the Thunderbolt 3 ports make up for that. Display port adapter cables are available for less than $20. I am also looking into a Thunderbolt dock again - my previous experiments with USB docks weren't so great and I bought the full Lenovo dock for the P71, but it seems the technology may have advanced enough to make this an option.
A big thumbs-down so far is the fan noise. I have been a Lenovo T-series user since the T40 came out in the early 2000s, always with top-of-the-line builds, and I have never had a more noisy laptop than this T15g. It sits here idle on my desk while I am typing this review on the P71, and just background tasks like the virus scanner and Windows update make the fans howl like the CPU was working at its limits.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great shopping experience. The "compare" feature was extremely helpful in my decision making process.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing machine. It's solid mobile workstation. Just a heads up it's a worlstation sonit's not a slim, loght laptop. But it's powerful, it's great and you can get desktop performance hidden in the small box. I wpuld recommend to anybody who mainly ise it at home.
