I love how it kneads and the stretches the dough. The dough (pizza or bread) turns out better with this machine than when kneaded by my KitchenAid with a dough hook.
The only design defect is it should have a way of blocking the pasta mechanism when one is kneading dough and not making pasta. It would be a lot easier to clean.

Plastic mechanism does not hold up. The unit started pumping out plastic. I returned it right away. Better off going with a metal hand machine.

This is a very nice pasta maker. It mixes well and produces very good pasta in a number of shapes. Make sure to follow recipes provided- I wish there were more. The activation buttons are a little tricky and resetting is not explained well in the directions.

This pasta bread dough maker is quite great. We’ve made pasta twice and bread dough once. The pasta and bread were great! Easy to make and taste outstanding!
I have two negatives. The first and biggest is how hard it is to get the gray, front screw part on and off. It has to be crazy tight so the pasta attachment doesn’t spin. But then getting it back off takes a team and a crazy amount of strength. The second negative is how many pieces the machine takes to operate. The pasta making is incredible, so it’s worth it, but I do think twice before pulling the whole production out.

I love this product. I use it mostly for making dough… My hands don’t get messy, and the dough comes out perfect. FYI, for perfect results, one must follow the instructions. I use my Pastafecto on a weekly basis..

Made excellent tasty pasta with included recipe on the first try (the semolina and egg recipe). It just leaves a lot of pasta dough in the machine with no way to force it to continue feeding into the die at the end. I’m going to keep working with it to see if I can find a way to improve the process.
