We bought this unit several months ago to replace an old Dacor. Right away I noted that the small burner had 3000 lass BTUs than the Dacor. This means the THOR has true simmer burners, which I am thrilled about. Only time will tell how well the spark box holds up, but so far I love this unit.
Only had one day but love so much better than our much more true blue, Grates are very substantial with out being over heavy to lift and clean, wish I had seen the offer for one years extra parts warranty before sending in however
I selected this cooktop to go into my new custom built home. It is an awesome addition to my kitchen! I absolutely love the professional grade quality. Can't wait to use it!
Very happy with this replacement . It Works Great! and is so much easier to keep clean. Installation was very straight forward. Could not beat the price, highly recommended.
I have had the 6 burner for a year and it has been a true pleasure to cook on. I used to have a 5 burner and this has made a great difference. The last cooktop has plastic knobs and they broke and could not be replaced. Love the metal knobs on the side with the LED to know if it is on. It has a great range of fire on the burner. With the knobs on the side, you dont lean over them and move the knob. This is a great feature. The Cooktop is very easy to clean and shines up nicely and still looks like new. I love my Thor and strongly recommend the 36 inch gas cooktop.
The Thor 36-Inch Gas Cooktop is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to bring a professional touch to their kitchen without breaking the bank. From the moment it was delivered, I was impressed by its sleek, high-end design—it truly looks like something you'd find in a chef's kitchen. The stainless-steel finish and durable cast-iron grates make it feel sturdy and add a premium look to my cooking space.
In terms of usability, this cooktop excels. The five burners are arranged thoughtfully to accommodate different pan sizes, and the controls are intuitive, making it easy to adjust the flame with precision. The burners light up quickly and provide an even flame, which is perfect for everything from a slow simmer to a fast boil. Cleanup is also simple, as the grates lift easily, and the surface wipes clean with minimal effort.
Perhaps the best part is the price. Compared to other high-end cooktops, the Thor offers impressive quality and performance at a much more affordable rate. I’m thrilled with this addition to my kitchen and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a professional, user-friendly gas cooktop without the luxury price tag.
