I take my bag everywhere, on assignment, at parties, on trips. It's functional, it's beautiful, it's wonderfully well thought-out and every component is sturdy. And even if, after 5 years of intensive use, the zipper gave out on me...the incredible peak design lifetime warranty saved the day by providing me with a complete new bag!!!! You are undeniably the best photo bag brand ;-). Bravo ! PS: Experience of a professional photographer for over 25 years, having used two other big famous brands...none of them measure up to your products.

Best packback I've ever owned!

I'm not usually the person who writes reviews, but when i do, i mean it. I've owned many, i mean many backpacks and was never satisfied, but since I've owned a PD backpack, v1 and now v2, I've never changed since. I love this backpack and it's now my daily go to, for photoshoots, to work or just casual out and about. Just an absolute great backback that serves more than it's supposed to.

I upgraded from the v1 to this new design and I really like what they’ve done with the pocket organization and build quality. This bag is the perfect combo of minimal design but yet high function.

The G.O.A.T. of Tech Backpacks

I'm a 56-year-old Information Technology executive, and I've carried every imaginable backpack for my gear over the years. Most of them were complete garbage, and then I watched a 2022 YouTube video by Marques Brownlee where he did a "bag dump" of the everyday gear he was carrying. This backpack was the camera bag he was using. I don't usually hop on bandwagons when it comes to my EDC equipment, but I decided to take a leap of faith and spend there extra money for this bag. I absolutely love it. I use it mainly as a laptop bag instead of a camera bag, but that fact alone speaks to its versatility. It's extremely well made, and every detail has been well planned. I like products that are well designed, and you can see that a lot of thought went into every design choice. I highly recommend this pack, along with the related Peak Design accessories.

Bought it a couple of years ago with an idea that I might return it if it’s too focused on photography equipment. Never happend. I’ve been happy with the backpack ever since and with its versatility. And, believe me, I used it for everything, from work to light tracking. Sometimes wish it to be lighter, but new products that fit the bill are coming.

8 years without any complaint

I use the very first version of this amazing backpack for my camera stuff all around the world since I backed it at Kickstarter 8 years ago. Still a very good product. Never had any issues. If it would fall apart someday I'd buy it again. But I guess this product won't get broken someday.

A clear upgrade over V1

Got V2 as a warranty replacement for the V1. V1 looks more fancy, more fancy elements, more leather, etc, but V2 is just much more practical: laptop compartment, internal side pockets, etc. Few changes I did not like comparing to V1: 1. attachment loops are not tethered to the pack and have plastic instead of metal buckets, 2. Shoulder straps have additional “wrapped” padding, which is probably much greater from the durability perspective, but makes the pack to look much cheaper, 3. No integrated hip belt (not like you need it for a 20L every day, but was nice to have while biking).
