The best bag around. Best service I've ever had.

I can't say enough about Peak Design. I've been following them since the release of the Capture clip, and they continue to not only produce some of the most well designed and built products around, but their service is also top notch. I recently received the Everyday Bag...is it possible to fall in love with an inanimate object? Yes. Yes it is.

I searched for a backpack for so long and when I came across this one I was in LOVE!! The magnetic straps work so well, I love how the backpack sits up by itself and doesn't sink in even when it's empty. The quality was everything I hoped it would be and more!! If there's any change I could make I'd like to see the bone color available in the everyday backpack or even the ash color in the 30L but it's already so amazing color barely counts for anything!!

After months of research, I finally bought the 30l everyday backpack. It has a modern design and solid construction. With the endless possbility of configuration, it is great not only for camera gears, but also for travels. You can fit the 12.9 in Ipad as well as a 13-15 in laptop. It is a great bag for a week long travel.
The bag is a little bit on the heavier side, otherwise it is a perfect daily backpack.

Great Bag, much better than Nomatic

This bag is simple and sweet. The customization allows for any type of use, I typically only use two dividers and it works perfect for college. Being able to change the dividers quickly is nice and allows the bag to be used more freely than my nomadic, which tends to just look awkward and bulky when I need extra space. Not to mention this bag is expandable so I often don't have to worry about reorganizing the dividers. The lifetime warranty gives me peace of mind so I'm not worried about needing to repurchase. My only complaint for the company is the shipping, for such an expensive bag I think the packaging could have been better, as both bags I purchased had small tears by the time they arrived. Luckily the bag itself is BA and didn't take damage itself. I am impressed with Peakdesign and will certainly be buying more of their products in the future.

As a self-professed backpack addict, I resisted the PD Everyday backpack for the longest time as something only for photographers. But I met a friend int he Bay Area who wasn't a photog and I was intrigued. The more I read about this bag, the more I realized that I had to try it. I was not disappointed. So many ways to customize this thing, so classy and business appropriate. I usually put patches on my backpacks, but I can't being myself to disturb the design and the look. love this thing

The backpack's is sleek and comfortable in most shooting situations and make it easy to capture that ultimate shot. I've used when we traveled and on weekend outings. I consider vital addition to my photography gear inventory. I highly recommend this bag for many different applications.

Messenger-Like Workflow from A Backpack: Exactly What I Needed

My previous main camera bag was the V1 messenger, and over the years I have become dependent on rapidly swing a bag around my body to access gear. But messengers aren't comfortable on longer shoots, especially when lots of walking is involved. Really, they aren't even that comfortable for a day spent in airports. So I needed a backpack, but it's amazing how few allow side access. And of those that do, this PD bag is basically the only one with *full* side access. I'm not limited to pulling out just a camera body with whichever lens I'd attached in advance, I can also get to other lenses for swapping (and with practice, can use the open bag as a staging area for the swap). My current divider setup allows my camera and 4 lenses to live on the main access side of the bag, with space for 2 more lenses on the other side (and a headlamp, and chargers, and cables, and...). The "top" of the bag still has some space for non-photo stuff like a packable jacket, paper and pens, or snacks. The sleekness of the overall design does reduce the usable space a little, but the 20L size is enough for everything I'd normally need. My understanding is that the straps are much improved from V1, but they could still be a little better, and the dangling ends are a weird oversight from a brand that takes pains to solve those sorts of dumb little problems. Otherwise, there are so many great touches here; it's even possible to affix pouches and dividers from other PD bags, to expand options.

The Perfect Fit and Size

I chose the Black 30L bag and I am absolutely pleased with it. I am 5'6 and it is the exact size/shape/feel I like in a backpack. The Zippers and straps are excellent. The obvious overall design and construction is truly wonderful. I have a minor amount of camera gear in it now that takes up all the space, but I can easily make room for more in the future. The adjustable laptop area is an excellent feature. I really love the magnets the hold the shoulder straps down as well. The Flexfold dividers are extremely useful. Not a single feature or compartment goes unused. They all serve many purposes.
