I bought this Range and was very disappointed for the money. 3 out of 7 Burner Knobs (gas Valves) were binding badly and wouldn't pop out as they are supposed to. Easy fix for someone who knows their doing but I would think the QC department would be better. Especially where it is extremely important that the gas valves return to a neutral place for safety reasons !!!.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Put it in our new house, and we looked at many cooktop options, and we are so glad we went with the Thor!! Heats up quickly, its easy to clean, and it looks like a professional cooktop! Would recommend to anyone..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this and finally got it installed after we renovated our kitchen, and oh my god this has to be the best stove top ever. 6 burners and the flame is perfect on each. Im able to cook for my big family with ease. I love Thor I bought all the appliances for my kitchen and it is amazing

Luxury Bargain!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I looked over many different professional series ranges and the Thor 36” was the best value/look/feel for the money. Easily performs and looks as upscale as ranges costing twice the price. Knobs are great quality with smooth operation and this range makes any kitchen look professional.

LOVE IT!!! (Mostly)

Thor 36” Rangetop was one of two affordable options for our newly remodeled kitchen. (A huge upgrade from our 27” GE drop-in stove from 1962!)
PROS:
It’s BEAUTIFUL! We’ve had several guests comment on it.
There is plenty of room for two people to stand in front and cook at the same time. A huge plus for cooperative, or complimentary cooking!
The center front burner is large, but has a super-low simmer setting, which we’ve found very useful.
The knob lights up when it’s burner is in use; a nice safety feature. (This was the deciding factor between Thor and the second option.)
Easy to clean up spills and boil overs.
PROS:
It’s BEAUTIFUL! We’ve had several guests comment on it.

The surface of the grates seem high above the burners, and despite a high BTU, it seems that it takes as long as my old stove to boil a big pot of water. It’s the first gas stove I’ve owned so maybe it’s just a perception.
It gives off a lot(!) of heat, really warming the kitchen, especially in summer months.
It isn’t compatible with a stovetop wok!!! A huge disappointment to learn that after installation, and I was reading the manual.

Fast and Hot Cooking!

We love cooking with our LP converted rangetop! We just finished a kitchen remodel and had electric, but were now able to run a line from our propane tank to our kitchen. Our gas company appreciated that it was already converted when they hooked it up! We love it and I can’t wait to get the griddle and bamboo board!
