Great product with small challenges

This is a great start to my day!. The press is awesome and the measure lines make it so easy. The only challenges I have is that it loses its heat after about 2 hours so I have to finish Up my 3rd cup by then. And the agitation paddle cracked a bit.

Murky coffee

I love my Fellow mugs. But the French press produces market coffee. It keeps the coffee warm but it is not as good as other French presses I have had in the past.

Beautiful design however the wooden handle has started to loosen after only a month of owning. It can only be tightened with a hex wrench. Otherwise it keeps my coffee warm for a long time which is preferable.

Needs a spare lid

This my first foray into a french press as an insulated metal carafe replacement for a glass Melitta pour over. It’s been a challenge adjusting to a french press from my regular AeroPress. It could use a spare lid for making a larger amount of coffee for guests using the Aeropress or Melitta cone and keeping the coffee warm.
The cleaning instructions are not the best for those of us who can’t dump soapy water with grounds down the drain. A silicon spatula works best for scraping grounds into the organics bin followed by a soapy sponge wipe.
For those new to french press, get a cheap glass one to see if it works for you and then invest in a Clara.
