Professional look and quality without the pricetag

This is by far, my favorite piece in the kitchen now. It really brings everything together and is not only a conversation piece but a functional work of art. You get a quality stove without the price tag of some other name brands. The oven is fantastic and the cooktop works like a top. The dual burners are a nice touch for that slow simmer and the blue lights are pleasing to look at as an indication that burners and the oven are on. The switch over to LP gas was a breeze with the kit easily available. The only thing I regret is not getting this sooner. If you are looking for a 36" stove, this is the one you will want to put in your kitchen.

Decided on a Thor, for our kitchen remodel. We didn’t want to spend the $ on a Wolf or Thermador, and found this fit our budget, with the features we were looking for in a pro-style range. It’s a powerful, and the oven is a great size (we got the 36 inch dual fuel). Looks great in our new kitchen, hopefully it holds up to years of tasty meals!

Great buy after lots of research

I just completed a whole house renovation. I did TONS of research before buying this range. It’s an amazing value with the look and performance of ranges twice the price. This is a well made range. You have to get used to the powerful burners. An indicator of a good range is its range of power, pun intended! And this has everything from simmer to quick boil. I was surprised to see the burners are all marked made in Italy! I love the large size and always have ample space for my pots/pans when cooking. The griddle takes getting used to also- note the back gets hotter than the front. I’ve made pancakes, eggs, veggies for fajitas etc. You should really clean griddle right away and use sufficient oil when cooking so things don’t stick. The griddle is built in, can’t remove it. Regarding the ovens- WOW the range weighs over 400 lbs and the oven doors are heavy as heck. Which keeps the heat in. My 10 month old son licks the glass, while it’s on, lol, and it’s safe for him to touch due to a properly insulated double walled oven door. Make sure you have proper ventilation when using this range. My callouts: I have no idea how I’m ever going to be able to replace/move the range. It’s very heavy. One of the back burners “clicks” sometimes when it’s lit. You have to keep an eye on the small oven. I burned two dishes. I’ve since gotten a thermometer. It preheat correctly but the read at the top end of the oven cavity was highe than my setting. Not sure if that’s normal considering heat rises. One day the large oven fan made some loud noises when running, but hasn’t happend since. I wish this range had indicator lights if the cooktop was being used. There were approx 30-40 reviews on this item/brand when I bought it. . The range lives up to mostly positive reviews. The main question is how long will it last without giving any problems. Even people with high end ranges complain about things. Thor provides a two year warranty and I bought it on my credit card which doubles it. Hopefully I won’t have to use it. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

Excellent Burners and looks good in the space

I really like this range and would have given it five stars but the oven broil feature just doesn't work the way I think it should. I mean you can't even brown french fries. That being said the gas burners are excellent and do a great job of cooking meals.

Great Stove, but I would have preferred White rather than stainless. The stainless is very difficult to clean and remove fingerprints. The oven racks are difficult to pull out and push back in.
