I purchased this stove six years ago. It still works great. Love the cast iron top. Makes it easy to move large pots from one burner to another. The oven bake evenly and the convection fan helps speeds things up. So far I haven’t had a problem with it. The only thing is I wish I could turn down the simmer burner lower.

Some issues

We purchased this beautiful oven/range seven years ago. From day one, one burner would cause the igniter to tick, so we avoided that burner. That was not a huge deal. But as time went on the chrome coated plastic pieces around the burner knobs got too hot, made the chrome bubble and flake off, and eventually warped the plastic making the knobs more difficult to turn. Yesterday, because the warped plastic made the knob too tight, the stem from the large oven/thermostat broke off. Luckily the oven was off when it broke off, but now the large oven cannot be used. The part alone is $200. I have removed all the plastic pieces around the knobs so no more burner stems break off. Because these were removed the one burner that was having the igniter issues has been resolved. Other than these issues this oven has been great. I’m not sure why this great and expensive range was made with these plastic pieces. The rest of the range was made with sturdy parts.

48in dual fuel range Good product for the money

So I’ve had the 48 inch dual fuel professional style range for about a month as a replacement for my 16 year old Monogram and I have lots of thoughts. 1) compared to the cost of a Monogram, Wolf, etc it’s a miracle: 2) it’s NOT one of those.
Specifically : 1) the high and low output burners are excellent at being very high and very low but the controls are a little finicky - not very linear in their control; 2) the markings on the controls are almost unreadable and made more so by the very bright blue LEDs shining off them when they are on: 3) the grate design needs improvement - very small pots are not fully supported and there really is no reason to cast them so that each one covers two burners which makes them unwieldy to clean or handle; 4) the over racks in the main oven are OK but the small oven is just friction slide and less than ideal.
Overall, it was worth saving $10,000+ but if I ever build another kitchen I’ll go with a separate cooktop and dual wall ovens.
