Wow....SO not a Singer!

(1) Much quieter than my Singer heavy duty machine.
(2) goes through double layers for Covid masks like a hot knife through butter
(3) love the easy backstitch feature
(4) double-love the auto needle-up feature
I've always used Kenmore/Singer so it took a bit to get used to the lever being on the inside of the machine but now that I've got the hang of it, I can push button for a couple backstitches, push the button to lift the needle, and lift the foot all with the same hand.

I use lots of leather,canvas,denim and this machine goes right thru them all with ease. I make dolls and their shoes and boots are leather and this machine does a beautiful job sewing the baked clay soles to the leather. Excellent machine,it did not dissappoint !

Perfect For A Beginner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. I have never used a sewing machine but I was amazed at how easy this one is to use. The included operation manual is extremely easy to follow and understand every step of the way. The manual is probably the best one I have ever received with any product. Since the sewing machine is computerized, it pretty much does everything for you. There is a flat bed attachment ib the front left side that flips open for storing presser feet and bobbins or it can be removed for sewing cylindrical things like sleeve cuffs or pant hems. There is also a stitch guide that snaps onto the handle which shows you the 50 stitches and which number each stitch is. I love the LED light so it is always nice and bright down at the needle area. The machine is much more quiet then I thought it would be. Love the back lit LCD display panel, it is easy to see and understand, you simply select one of 50 stitches and the panel tells you what foot presser foot to use and automatically sets the stitch width and length. The sewing machine has a handle on top so it is easy to pick it up and move it should you want to, it isn't very heavy. I was amazed at how quick and easy it was to shorten a pair of denim jeans and have it look like it was professionally done. I highly recommend the Brother ST150HDH sewing machine if you have never used a sewing machine before, it was very easy to learn just by following the manual.

What an amazing machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old sewing machine stopped working a few months ago and this is such an excellent replacement! I love the style, it's sleek, portable & not so heavy! I just love it! It has so many options I haven't even tried them all yet! Besides all the options (like stitches & designs) it is so easy to use! Use friendly, easy to thread (which is huge!) and seamless stitching. It runs smoothly & I love the easy to use pressure foot, it gives me great control! I've only used it so far for mending but threading & bobbin changing is simple, you can select stitch length easily too! It comes with so many supplies - a dust cover, tools for maintenance & needles/bobbins! I'm so happy & love this is built for the somewhat novice sewer as it's strong & tough!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for thicker material and smooth running

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product to test from Brothers, and posting my honest review after using it few times for a week now.
I would consider myself as an intermediate/experienced at using sewing machines. I have done lot of hemming and pillow cases etc. mostly. Kids' clothes and their tae-kwon-do badges and such a lot. So yes this machine can be used for far greater purpose than what I use it for, but if I ever get more into advanced sewing, this seems like will be a perfect fit that as well.
One of the feature I found most convenient and impressive was the automatic threading. Usually I've had some bad experiences in the past, where threading mistakes ends up locking up the machine or complicating the task. So the automatic threading feature takes away that pain.
Being all new and modern, the sewing machine has a built in LED light, that lights up the working area and makes the sewing/detail work easier.
One simple but brilliant (in my opinion, compared to my old sewing machine) is the clear bobbin thread cover, where you can see how low are you on your threads. no need to open the cover frequently to check.
One other thing I'd also mention is the control over the granularity of the speeds and such. I found the manual to be very helpful with all these functions.
I'd definitely recommend. Thanks.

I like this machine. It's smooth and easy to use. I wish the space from the needle to the arm on the right was larger. I repair lots of jeans and I find that small space makes it so difficult maneuvering jeans around. The machine strains when sewing through multiple denim layers but it plows through without stopping. The selection of stitches is plenty. I like the features and the fact you can reset things as needed. Glad I've chosen this

So far so good! I'm loving this machine! I do wish the stitching chart was somehow integrated into the digital display and not on a separate sign which I have always misplaced. I have to refer to the internet whenever I want to change stitch patterns. Other than that, this machine is amazing!

From a long-time Singer machine owner, this is a nice upgrade. Great machine, sews through both heavy denim and lightweight window sheers. But I do agree with previous reviews, not sure about the many plastic parts holding up for the duration. Happy with the purchase!
