I used to own the omen 800 headphones. I really liked them and had them for about 3 years but recently one of the ears died so I decided to buy the same ones again but it seems HP replaced them with these blast ones. I am using these now but both the sound quality and the build quality is no where near as good as the omen 800. Most likely will throw these away once I find anyone who still has stock of the old omen 800 ones.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very comfortable headset. I had seen some negative reviews on YouTube after I bought them, but before I had a chance to try them on. I am glad I hadn't seen the reviews ahead of ordering, because I am very satisfied with quality and comfort of the headset. I also like how the microphone retracts inside. I would buy them again.
