As there was a backorder when I ordered my Paperlike, I got to experience using my iPad and the Apple Pencil a fair bit for note taking without a cover. After I received and applied the Paperlike, I instantly noticed a difference in the feel of it. The screen cover is true to name and is like paper. It's not exact but it's amazingly close without sacrificing too much screen brightness. It came with two screen covers and I'm saving the second for either a friend or if I damage the one I have. Would recommend!

Great screen protector

I didn't use the previous generations so I can't compare, but compared to other knockoffs (which I used while waiting for this to arrive), Paperlike is far superior and feels great to write on. As a student it really helps with the writing and note taking experience, and I am a fan of the matte texture usually.

Completes the iPad Pro drawing experience

I never liked working on my iPad Pro until I got Paperlike. The interaction was just too smooth and slippery between the iPad and the Apple Pencil. Paperlike makes the experience as close to pen on paper as you are likely to get unless new nibs for Pencil are created to get closer to a pencil feel. There are trade offs to that since it would wear out faster or damage the Paperlike surface. What I like about Paperlike is that unlike other screen surfaces that make drawing a better experience, Paperlike doesn’t adversely effect the screen resolution much at all.

I love the sheer sound of the pencil gliding across Paperlike. I also generally enjoy the matte screen when consuming media. Great buy!
