I confess, it took me several years to estimate the handwriting possibilities of my iPad. One main reason was that I didn’t like the feeling of scating around on a hard glass surface with the Apple pen. I love the haptic experience of paper, also the sound a pen produces while you are writing. Ice skating on glass was disturbing for me. This problem is solved. Order PAPERLIKE from these friendly people. Watch carefully their video where they explain everything. If you take the necessary time, the fixing of your new surface will work perfectly. Yes, and also important: I cannot see and feel any disturbance in watching my fotos, videos, working with Apps or the net. Nothing. Only one happy ting: I got back my paper experience in writing and drawing on my iPad. Thanks so much, you people from PAPERLIKE. And since I fixed the sheet carefully, my daughter got the second one they send you without additional costs. Only if you make some mistake you might not be able to correct.

Good surface for drawing

It’s a good surface for drawing but I wish it didn’t scratch so easily. I have a new tip on my Apple Pencil and it still scratches quite easily.

It feels great, looks great, and makes drawing feel really nice on the iPad. Although be reaaaalllly careful when you're attaching it. Seriously, do it in a vacuum if possible or there WILL be dust/pet hair that somehow gets underneath it in the 1 second that its exposed to the air before you paste it onto the surface of your iPad.

The Paperlike screen cover I have works wonderfully well on my 12.9 iPad screen. I use my iPad extensively every single day for my note-takings, etc. The sheet definitely gives a paper-like :) feel when I use my apple pencil.

Don't use with all around case

As with my apple watch and some apple cases I've used, any kind of screen protector of similar, ie paperlike, bunches in at least one corner. With other cases like Apple folio case, this should not be an issue. Paperlike feels great but just use it free of cases that act like iPhone cases, enclosing the screen and offering that lip of protection. Thanks. Great product!
