Worth the wait!

I ordered this at the beginning of the pandemic so shipping took a long time. But it was worth it! Not only does it give just enough resistance to my Apple pencil, I love the fact that it reduces the glare on the screen. Thank you!

Almost perfect

The Paperlike does a great job at what it says it does. It really changes the way you feel when you write with the Pencil. The problem is that after only about two days, oil accumulates and the surface actually becomes slippery, and gives nowhere near the amount of resistance that you get when it’s cleaned. So you do have to clean it every day or two for the best experience. And I have to say, it does scratch pretty easily, and I don’t push that hard with my Pencil. Obviously I know there were some compromises to be made when creating this, but these are definitely the top two things I would take into consideration and improve on with the next iteration. Still early days but very pleased

You can find cheaper screen protectors but the Paperlike does stand out. The non-reflective surface stops fingerprints and kills distracting reflections. It also diffuses light pleasantly at the screen surface in a way that makes reading feel more like e-ink. This is particularly noticable for reading comics and more graphic text—completely unexpected and welcome. The writing experience isn't exactly like paper but it is more natural feeling than the uncovered screen. That touch of resistance is very welcome for drawing and writing. Now we just need a better technology for writing text in iPad OS. Maybe Scribble will be the solution we're looking for.

Absolutely fantastic writing experience

Writing on the Paperlike screen protector gave a paperlike experience and I enjoyed writing on the iPad after applying the screen protector. Prevents the pencil from "gliding" on the surface which gives good control over every stroke.

BEST PROTECTOR FOR CREATIVES

if you intend on using this on a regular basis especially for drawing this is one of the best uses, it is a little pricey and fiddley to put on but once it was on it got rid of the skin on glass friction and felt like i was working on real paper really worth the purchase.
