Paperlike was more than I expected. I had to wait for it due to COVID but it was worth the wait. I noticed a difference right away after applying it with my note talking and drawing.

Has a lovely feel, lovely texture, and lovely sound when drawing. Has really helped feeling more like drawing traditionally.
It can be a bit difficult to apply. I had to use both the same day as the first just went on oddly, but that's more user error than the product. All in all, love it, will probably buy again when mine wears out.

Paperlike is an absolute must if you have an iPad, or looking to purchase one! When using the Apple Pencil, Paperlike makes the iPad screen feel exactly like paper... I’m not joking. Not only that, but the Paperlike does not affect the screen quality, it in fact, improves it when you are in the sun– the screen doesn’t have extremely visible glare or reflection.

Pretty good, but not enough

I have been using it for over a month, and although it increases the feel, it’s still just moderately increasing the friction of the Apple Pencil for me. I expected at least twice as much friction. It still slides too much, and pencil control isn’t that greatly improved. On the plus side, it’s consistent. The naked iPad Pro screen is incredibly grippy when it’s clinically clean, but as soon as you’ve touched it (it’s a touch screen, you will touch it) it immediately becomes like soap on the spots where your fingers have been. This is not the case with Paperless. So that’s good. I’m still keeping it on, so that’s a testimony in itself though. I’m still giving it a 3 star rating. Also, on the plus side, it’s not introducing much colour distortion like some other matte covers. The colour is pretty good. The only thing is the black levels suffer a bit because it’s picking up ambient light. But that’s to be expected.
