Paperlike 2.0 - even more like paper

The new version of Paperlike arrived just in time to test it on my brand new iPad Pro. After one botched application attempt (see more below), I managed to get it on almost perfectly the second time round. Once it’s on your screen, it does 2 wonderful things:
1. It gives your Apple Pencil just that little bit more friction, making it feel like you are writing on actual paper;
2. It reduces the reflectiveness of the screen, making it easier to use the iPad outside or in unfavourable lighting conditions.
It does both these things almost without causing visible ‘noise’, something the previous version definitely had a lot more of. So, even with the Paperlike 2.0 applied, your text looks sharp, your images clearly defined.
I said I botched the first attempt to apply the Paperlike. Applying it is not rocket science, but it is not without its challenges. Dust and other floating particles are your enemy here. Fortunately Paperlike comes with very clear and helpful instructions, as well as some tools (stickers, cleaning tissues, cloth etc.) to help you succeed. However, as I discovered, one mistake can cause serious trouble. Just when I was sticking the Paperlike on, a hair found its way between the protector and the screen. I tried to remove it, but this only brought in more dust. I live in a very sandy, dusty area, so dust is everywhere. I ended up with a ‘starry night’ version of the screen and no way to correct this.
That’s where the people of Paperlike showed how incredibly customer-focused they are. I reported my problem, expecting to have to order a replacement set. After all, the problem was a user-error, not a manufacturing or shipping problem. Without even asking for it, they immediately sent me a full replacement kit. No questions asked.
Now, that’s what I call service.
All in all, this screen protector with a difference comes highly recommended.

Love my Paperlike

I couldn’t recommend this enough - completely changed how I use my iPad! I now use it for digital planning, drawing and more. Feels amazing to use and no pesky marks or slips on the glass with my Apple Pencil

It’s easy to apply it to the iPad.

The feeling is incredible and so the sound that the pencil makes when you scratch the surface. It really feels like you are drawing on paper and reduces the glare a lot

I love to draw on my iPad and so many on youtube have said, that it's perfect for that So I wanted to test it by myself and I must say: It was the best thing I could bye! I'm sooooo happy! Thank you for this amazing product!

I like this screen protector very much. It’s tricky to apply but if you get it on good, it’s very nice to view and write on. It makes the Apple Pencil writing a very fun experience.
