[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The guts of this machine are great. The hardware I find a little clunky. The mouse buttons above the trackpad vs below were weird to get used to. The trackpad clicking itself is funky at times (e.g. right clicks when I mean to left click). It's not a real detriment to performance, it's just annoying. So overall it's a great machine. But I suspect the newer gens of these laptops are superior.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this laptop for my son who recently started his online bachelors degree program in cyber security and software development. So far he is very happy with the performance of the P17 workstation.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very dependable laptop. Only issue is the sound isn't very loud...but I got this for work and NOT for entertainment.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's so fast and looks absolutely incredible. It has a very professional look to it, but it's all speed under the hood. Very very happy with my purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the i7 10750 So far it's been amazing for music production. As well as light design. I can have Ableton 11 suite and Avolites Titan PC on at the same time and still have CPU power available for other tasks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally replaced my T61 Thinkpad that I’ve had since 2007. This is a nice upgrade. I love the large screen. It starts up extremely fast. I like the illuminated keyboard -much better than the Thinklight on my old laptop. So far so good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This workstation has been able to handle the heaviest DWGs I’ve tossed at it without any lag while running multiple programs in the background, I would totally recommend this to anyone.
