[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a professional writer, I've used ThinkPad's for years. Never a single warranty claim or problem with ANY of them. My P17 is my 9th ThinkPad and I really couldn't ask for a better device for my craft. The keyboard is exceptional, there's a reason why they are known for this! Laptop is fast and nearly silent most of the time. The 4K screen is gorgeous. The entire thing is solid as a rock and exudes quality from every inch. The trackpoint is invaluable, still the best way to control a cursor ever devised and Lenovo is just about the only company still offering them. If you're looking for a serious machine to get real work done, the P17 is an excellent choice.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The out of box experience with this machine exceeded every expectation and it hasn't come close to disappointing me with every programming package I have thrown at it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disappointing product. Low quality materials. Noisy keyboard and noisy fan. I don't recommend this ThinkPad and if I just could do it I'd like to return it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the operation of this laptop and the number keypad is just what I needed. The large size is great, though it's a tad bulky. Only wish is that it was a touchscreen, but really this is a rugged laptop so that is a good offset. Overall good large screen, fast laptop for home office use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My only disappointment is that I can't touch the screen. I work with a smaller yoga, which I love, but it wasn't powerful enough to handle all the zoom. This definitely is a beast of a machine, but it takes some getting used to not touching the screen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Keep in mind Lenovo, with good reason, calls this a Mobile Workstation, not a laptop. It is heavy as far as laptops go but this is a beast. With 32 GB RAM it is lightning fast and the keyboard, as well as the whole unit, is solidly built. Feel free to pound away like you're on an old fashioned manual typewriter. This is the laptop General Schwarzkopf would use if he was still around. I got it because I have a need for speed, large screen, and the battery life, while not spectacular, is pretty darn good. It filled all my requirements.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very powerful computer that can handle massive files. This thing is heavy but you have to know that going into it and be comfortable carrying 15 lbs anytime you want to take it with you. The laptop itself is over 10 lbs and I'd guess the power supply is another 5. Finding a good quality backpack/case for it was a challenge but OGIO has some good options. I've only had this laptop for a couple months but it has done everything I need it to with ease.
