[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This computer is a major upgrade to all other computers I've ever owned - including other ThinkPads and Lenovos. Great computer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great, but very heavy. Not as stylish as other models that my office mates have gotten. On the plus side this laptop is a work horse and has no problem handling everything that I need to do. I really like this computer, I just wish it was a little lighter and had a more modern look.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My selection of the Lenovo was based on the need for a 17 inch screen, fast processing speed, memory/storage expandability, good display specifications and physical durability. I do considerable traveling and choose to keep all my files and over 30,000 images in my laptop. My prior two lap top decisions were too heavily based on weight constraints, which drove the selection of laptops with adequate computing power, but with frailty resulting in premature physical failure of the laptop structure from my hours of use and traveling schedule. In selecting my next laptop, quite a number of computers were compliant with my computing power requirements, but almost none were also were compliant with MIL-STD 810G for physical durability. My choice of the Lenovo ThinkPad P17 was a great decision. The computer performs wonderfully in all respects, and its slightly greater wieght turned out to be a non-issue for me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's heavier and bigger than I expected. Not exactly as comfortable on your lap as a P50. The extra nits will be nice for viewing the screen outside though. I haven't tested out its abilities yet with anything intensive. Maybe it's worth the extra weight.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lenovo mobile workstation looks solid and handles simulations and graphics quite powerfully. with 17" screen, it allows you to work on your 3D models and designs elegantly. I am very happy to have one of these. A complete workhorse with ease of mobility.
