Great machine with excellent graphics and memory, loud fan during operation, poor bluetooth connectivty while using a docking station. Poor, non-intuitive and confusing windows operating system.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my new ThinkPad P17 for a couple of weeks now and it is the fastest computer I have ever owned. Much more powerful than I need, but I bought knowing it would last me for 7-8 years. I bought Lenovo based on its reputation for durability and longevity. I'm not usually a fan of touchpads, but this one is easy to use so I leave my mouse at home when I travel and have no complaints.
I tried purchasing a machine from two other major manufacturers/resellers, both failed to deliver. Spent 4 months waiting for them to fulfill orders. Thinkpad P17 was in-stock and well configured, took less than a week. Since receipt it has proven to be a solid workstation, handling everything I've thrown at it. Used mostly for aggregate business tasks and 3D CAD, specifically Autodesk Inventor 2021. No glitches, no complaints, highly recommended.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd 17” Lenovo laptop. My first was an IdeaPad. I loved it and I love this one! Speedy. Powerful. Dependable.
