[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been an HP user for many years but recently had so many issues with my HP Envy. I purchased it less than three years ago and had sent it back for repairs so many times that I was sent a new laptop (same make/model). Even that one had such frustrating issues. And I realized that Black Friday and Cyber Monday was not at all about giving consumers a deal, but rather about moving inventory that would otherwise not sell to savvy customers and that if I wanted something reliable today, tomorrow, and years down the road, I would need to be willing to pay for it.
I did some online searching and landed on Lenovo as my ideal laptop (and remembered how great my experience was when I used them at a major U.S. financial firm for many years). I loaded the laptop with the best features. It cost me a bunch but I can honestly say that it is worth every penny. From restart to logged in in less than one minute? Crazy, but true! I could go on and on...this is a great machine and I expect to be using it for many years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The laptop is built very well- sturdy and packs a punch-We are using it for a soil engineer and she loves it. This beast is heavy, so be prepared for that.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great machine overall with great specs and a very nice screen. The build quality is in line with what you expect from ThinkPads. It's definitely heavy, but that's to be expected with the screen size and expansion options. The only downside for me is the fan noise, which is VERY loud in a 'whining' way. It's louder than my full-sized gaming tower that has 6 large fans in it. Not a deal breaker for me, but something to be aware of.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The configuration on this machine is great for 3D CAD design. Quadro graphics, sharp display, ample memory and storage, nice keyboard and trackpad. All in all a great mobile workstation.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fast and easy to use. The FN key placement has taken some getting used to. The laptop makes loud noise, not sure if I need to buy a fan for it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good working laptop so far, not the best for CAD as I am figuring out. Even with one of the better Graphics Cards its still not compatible with SW and is a bit clunky. And why did the FN and CTRL keys get swapped? My ideapad has them CTRL/FN but Think pad is swapped compared to even HP, very odd.
