[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid laptop, easily keeps up with what I need for work. Couldn't hear the fan over the headset, even during sustained heavy usage.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the P17 is much faster than my older Thinkpad W520, and runs way cooler, I did like the old ThinkPad keyboard better, but getting used to the new one
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to upgrade my Lenovo Carbon as it didn't have the power to run my architectural software anymore and this machine is amazing, so fast, even in rendering. It's a heavy workstation and runs hot so I added a cooling pad, but am getting everything I need from the power.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Thinkpad P17 is a solid workstation that I use daily for multiple tasks requiring a high powered machine needed to handle 8 to 10 programs running simultaneously. It's quick, reliable, and is definitely worth the money!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The laptop is subtly powerful and much easier to get started then I thought. So far I am having very little problem switching from the older P71 to this newer unit. Docking ports are no longer used and the new arrangements have typically long delivery which makes early use less convenient.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a well built machine. It is a workhorse with features that others do not offer in comparison.
