[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I'm very happy with my ThinkPad P17. It's little heavier than I expected; however, the performance is amazing. My main concern is that it hasn't upgraded to Windows 11 yet and that's one of the main reasons I bought it. Also it retains passwords that I don't want it to do. Otherwise, it's working great and out-performing my previous Lenovo.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great machine so far. Had it for about a month now, the RAM, the video card, all make for a fast machine and I got a great price on the Lenovo sale page.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really love the machine so far. I only have one complaint and that is the location of the power port, it comes straight out the back. Just a preference but the side seems to work better. Still 5 stars!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works exactly as expected, but the fan can be distracting. Perhaps after using for awhile it won't be. Be sure you are not intending to be too mobile with it, the word "workhorse" also refers to the weight of this machine. I was had not prepared myself for the loud fan or weight, but that's all on me. I was reading specs and the weight was not on my mind. So I am treating my laptop like a desk top, it is stationary.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use our ThinkPad P17 for forensic image processing and forensic analysis using tools such as Cellebrite Digital Inspector and Magnet Forensics Axiom. The P17 is extremely fast at generating forensic database indexes. We own two P17 and will buy more as the need arises.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One month old and it's already in for warranty service because it overheated while doing rendering work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
