Sharp edges - literally!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The plastic edges around the laptop is really sharp, I like to hold my laptop in my hands on the couch, but on the P15S the edges is so sharp I cant stand it. How do you miss that in the design phase?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For this class of machine you can't beat the value Lenovo offers with a stick. The competition is several hundred dollars higher. Caution: know that they start the warranty period the day they ship it, not the day it gets delivered and you take possession of it. If it travels internationally and you have a to wait a few weeks, sucks to be you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great device. I especially love the keyboard and number pad. Its lightweight and has a good battery life of above 12 hrs. I did get a blue screen a few weeks after, likely a windows update, but was able to resolve it with a system image.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After studying the necessary specs for photo and video editing, I purchased my ThinkPad, custom-ordered. I expected high performance. Instead the computer is SLOW to load thumbnails in photo editing. As for video editing, the computer crashes frequently. I'm using fully licensed and current software from Corel, Adobe and Microsoft. This is sad, because I bought all new software and have spent hours trying to get this rig to perform, even going so far as to reinstall Windows.

Great for Construction/BIM students

I am a Construction Engineering student and I needed a major upgrade from my previous pc. I use Autodesk products on a near daily basis for my school competition team, especially Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. Running these programs, especially with the addition of Zoom, would crash my previous pc. I did extensive research and I decided to put my faith in the Lenovo P15s with the Intel i7 processor and 16 GB RAM features. The difference was substantial in comparison to my older pc. I can run any of the Autodesk products simultaneously and render 3D models effectively all while never worrying about my pc crashing. I recently did a Zoom presentation with nearly 100 people streaming in, with Navisworks and Revit 2021 running and I encountered no issues, even while screensharing! I am very pleased with this product. Works like a machine should.
