Was easy to install but there should be better directions on if the card needs updated when purchased new or just install. Also there needs to be an easier way to update once installed in radio so you don't have to tear dash apart to update. Like micro sd extension cable.

Once installed/removed/updated/reinstalled it all works well. Instructions say to update it before installing - but you really need to install it first and run the setup before the update can be done. Slight glitch, but not a showstopper. Otherwise it runs fine. Great graphics.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Way too inconsistent. After updating the SD card successfully the GPS is always having a hard time keeping gps connected. Every time I leave I'll be 10- 15 minutes down the road and the gps will still show I'm at home. Every other time it'll just lose connection and while I'm parking at my destination I'll see that the screen says I'm in the middle of the freeway still not moving. Before the updates I had no issues except for a little rubber banding when you're on one road and it'll think you're on the one next to it and then snap you back to the road you're actually on. I dunno what the update does besides update the maps but the navigation is unusable now. I use it as a screen saver since the XM radio logo on that screen isn't changeable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
