They keep leaving our water black with charcoal. I had to throw it away. Very disappointed in this expensive investment in what has become useless to my family

I have to replace the filter every 2 weeks. I am not getting the 40 gallons of water it says I should be getting, per how the water tests.

I am a college student living in a dorm. Our water tastes like fish, it is horrible. My mom purchased me a zerowater filter and it has been a GAME CHANGER. No more carrying heavy packages of water bottles up flights of stairs.

We purchased our first water pitcher about 7 years ago and we loved it. The water that came came out had clean and fresh taste to it. We used it for drinking and cooking. A couple years ago we purchased the 20 cup one and we use it for the coffee machine and cooking. My wife refuses to stop buying bottled water. The Zero Water tastes, better than the bottled water and has a fresher taste

I have been using the ZeroWater filters for three years. I had two cats that passed away from kidney problems when we just used well water to hydrate them. Tested the water and it was found to have items to hurt the animals. My two cats and one dog, have been given the filtered water and they are completely free of any problems. So glad I found out about Zerowater.

Fish smells and tastes horrible

I have been a long standing customer had no problems with the filters. I would change about every three months. Not Until the last few months. We had purchased new filters, within 7-10 days the filtered water, ice and boiled water smelled like fish and tasted horrible. So we replaced the filter and again within 7-10 the same thing. Upon reading reviews, other people were having the same thing. Found out the your company has an additive added to the filter that makes it smell and taste bad so the consumer must keep replacing the filters. Not great product,

Thank you for contacting ZeroWater. After Zero Water filters have been exhausted and have not been changed, the water produced from the filter may have a distinct smell or taste and the TDS reading may be higher than your tap water. This is a result of the water passing over the “spent” Ion Exchange Resin beads. We have gone to great lengths in reducing that taste/smell in product development however this is simply a characteristic of filtering water with a Dual-Ion Exchange system.
In order to avoid a change in the taste of the water it is important to test the water regularly and change the filter when the digital meter reads 006.
We have not changed how the filters are made and the technology has been the same since the mid 90's, to experience such a drastic change in the life of your filters would only mean that there has been some significant change in the quality of your tap water.
