compostable case

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the compostable case for an iphone 12mini. It came very quickly, but I had some issues with the side volume buttons being super hard to press, which hasn't changed much. I also notice the case gets scratched super easily and pieces of it are starting to come off. It would be nice if it was a better fit for the buttons and was a little more durable, but not sure if that's possible given the compostable material.

Love UAG, but this case is not worth it. Get a different UAG model.

I have had two other UAG cases prior and loved them both, so I thought I would try this case. I was very disappointed. It was difficult to push the sound and power buttons through the case and the case very quickly and easily showed wear. I could easily make a permanent scratch in the case with my finger nails without trying. It is better to just buy a normal case and keep it for years rather than buy this and get a new one after a month because it showed so much wear.

iPhone 12 Mini case review

I was very disappointed in the quality of the case. I saw it online and immediately fell in love with it and wanted to have it with my whole hart but I was sad to learn that UAG doesn't do shipping to South Africa, but I was determined to have it. My cousin came to visit from the Netherlands at the end of July so I had it shipped there and asked her just to go collect it (which she had to pay additional import tax on) and bring it to me when she comes to visit. When she came and gave it to me I could see up close and in person that the quality of the item was not good at all and it even looked grey and not black, I didn't put it on my phone and I had to buy a different one instead, all that money I spent on this AUG product I regret. I submitted a review of this situation before, this is the second time I am writing this review.

Hard to press buttons

I've had a few UAG cases and this one seems to be doing ok durability wise. My only real concern is how hard you have to depress the power and volume buttons. This can be a plus if you hate accidentally turning on your phone in your pocket.

Less Plastic, Pretty Good Case

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the idea of less plastic to pollute the planet. The case is a biodegradable material that protects your phone and our environment. I like the case, but I’m an aesthetics person, which is the reason why I only gave it four stars. The case wears “ok” but it is not for anything other than light duty. Scuffs and scratches are easily made/seen on the case. I am a person that keeps cases for a long time, and this case seems to cater to those that change cases regularly and would normally support the plastic pollution. This gives those individuals the ability to toss the case, and it not have an environmental impact. I love the brand, UAG, and they cater their cases to all different walks of life. This case, while good in many ways, could always use some slight improvement to make it better.
