Couldn't ask for a better monitor!

I have been using this monitor for almost a year now and haven't had a single issue. For context I have gone through 6 monitors and non of them were Asus. Every monitor I bought before cheep or expensive had issues that made them unusable. I was hesitant at first to buy the VG27AQ because of some bad reviews but after only buying monitors with better reviews and recommendations I decide to try it out and it was perfect. I use my computer for a lot of different things including video/photo editing, gaming, cad, YouTube and this monitor can do it all. Having 1440p was perfect for 27 inches and 165hz instead of 240hz was perfect since my computer couldn't maintain 240hz at 1440p on pervious monitors.
I don't know why I was so skeptical of Asus when choosing my monitor, given that the first computer I built comprised of all Asus parts excluding the ssd and chassis. I feel like they get bad credit especially in reviews but I think it's just because they have so many products and the demand is so high.
The best thing about this monitor is that it put my full confidence in Asus and I am planning on buying an Asus laptop with the same screen spec to pair up with my AMAZING monitor! Thank you Asus, you have made your place in my heart.
P.S. If anyone was wondering what laptop I am referring to it's the new ROG Zephyrus G15 Ultra Slim rtx3080 and specifically moonlight white because OMG it looks so good!

Great monitor for the price!!!

I honestly didn't expect to get this nice of a monitor for this price. I have owned it for about a month now and every time I sit down at my desk I thank myself for upgrading.
I figured I would end up with at least 1 dead pixel and being an IPS panel I also expected a decent amount of backlight bleed but yet again, Asus has exceeded my expectations with ZERO dead pixels and very minimal backlight bleed :)
I love the little opening in the stand, I usually hook my mouse cable to the back of the monitor but every once in a while it would catch on the back of my desk. If I route my mouse cable through the base and out of the front of the monitor it keeps the cable away from the back of my desk.
Stop reading reviews and just buy it already!
1440p, IPS, 1ms, 165hz, G-Sync + ELMB at the same time, great color accuracy, and an extremely easy to use UI. What else could you ask for at this price range? Asus nailed it with this one!

Great Monitor

Really solid monitor. It was bought to go along with my new gaming setup. It arrived before the pc, an I had it hooked up to our old pc for a week or so. What a difference between it and our old Dell. It's been a month since we've owned it, and it's been awesome. Not one let down.

Excellent 1440p monitor!

-A great buy for the price.
-Great for gaming, particularly retro gaming. Note that response time and input response time are TOTALLY different. The input response time is 10ms; however, 10ms is a good thing, it's one of the lowest input response times available!
-Colour accuracy can be improved using custom colour profiles in Windows
-Lots of ports: 1 VGA, 2 HDMI, and 1 DisplayPort
-The stand is fantastic, easily adjustable up and down, tilt, pivot, and 2-way rotation between landscape and portrait (one of the top reviewers on here claimed that they couldn't rotate the screen, which is not true at all).
-Pretty good for web browsing and reading, but white backgrounds really make the bad viewing angles stand out

The Perfect Monitor for 2k

It is the second monitor I've purchased and I'm completely satisfied. I haven't had any issue and the image is a perfect 2K display. The colors are very solid and it has a lot of video/image possible customization.

Bough the monitor almost two months ago, have not had any issues with the monitor at all, currently only using HDMI until I can get my wife's PC completed and then I can see how Display port looks at the full MHz refresh rate, but just on the HDMI it has a crisp picture quality, and no issues displaying games, or playing media which is what we bought it for

Very disappointed in the VG27A gaming monitor. I feel like I went back 10 years in time with this monitor. There's not much to offer with this product. No usb ports, no Bluetooth capabilities, no remote. I tried using settings that others have recommended but the quality of this product is pretty abysmal. I don't know where the money I spent is going. Well, except the stand it comes with. The only thing that seems worth it is the stand. I am surprised at how many websites recommended this monitor for gaming. Unless this is the type of monitor you get for this price point I honestly don't see what others see. Fortunately, I will be able to return this product after owning it for less than 24 hours and only having it out of the box for 1 hour. No I would not recommend this to anyone.
