the brushes seem fine if the machine worked as it should. The amount of water the pik dispenses is significantly less than the regular water-pik. But I have not had many times when it worked like it is supposed to.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These brush heads have very soft bristles. Often I don't feel like my teeth are getting as clean as they could. One more thing, the brush head is a bit tuff getting off the handle especially if my hands are wet from using the brush.
