Filing Amendment Process Too Poor To Follow

I needed to file an amendment simply to add one exemption. Very confusing software. I finally downloaded the forms from IRS and state websites and submitted manually. I am very disappointed with H&R block.
Pros: Easy to install
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Has bugs that can really frustrate, complicate and cause extra work.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to import, Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to fix issues, Hard to prepare

Cannot make corrections

Needed to amend an amended return. Could not find status of initial amended return. Could not use the software to file a new return. Probably will lose enough money to have paid for quality assistance. Comments below refer to this experience.

Good, But Needs Work

Have used TaxCut for about two decades. Disappointed this year because of the way the casualty loss portion works. It isn't clear to me what is going on with casualty losses, especially as it concerns form 8829. Also disappointed when it wouldn't allow eFiling one day after the 6 month extension was over.
Pros: Easy to install
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues
I would recommend this to a friend!
