Can't E-file

Great software as usual, but it cost me more money because the E-file feature does not work
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to fix issues, Hard to import
I would recommend this to a friend!

Errors, failed software and no customer support

I have been a user for several years and only had minimal issues. This year we experienced software errors, state return did not download and there was no customer support. I was not at all satisfied with the H&R Block experience and I will certainly share this with my friends. The software is certainly easy to use. However, there is no form review without printing filing.
Pros: Easy to install, Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor.

The program stated that I had completed both federal and state. I did not have internet service where I was at. So I travel ed 9 miles one way to where I could access the internet. I sat down where I left off thinking
Things will go quickly since the CD program said I was ready to efile. Then program then states that I need last years AGI or there will be a problem filing with the IRS. I am all set to file and last years return is 9 miles away. When your program says I am finished and ready to file, then you shouldn't be asking for additional information afterwards. It meant traveling an additional 18 miles for me. That question could have been easily asked at the beginning and not as an afterthought. This is my first time with Block and probably my last.

I got a w2 a week after I e-filed taxes this program said I could not e-file amended file as I changed it and I was not sure I done it right when I closed it out it said your amend file has been e filed. Not enough information on amend tax. Hard to go back to file I have been looking for. Gave it a low rating because I had a problem with amend tax.

Does not support Amended Federal Returns

The software does walk me thru 1040X, but at end does not Print the 1040X. It prints the complete 1040 with updated amounts, but this is not proper. I have used H&R Block software for many years; this is most likely the last time.
Cons: Hard to fix issues

I have used the H&R Block software since i began working for H&R B lock in the 90s and have always found it user friendly.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Easy to import, Fast

Nightmare!!!

I've used this software for many years with no problems and have always recommended it to friends. No more. Exasperating to use. Would not work with supplied CDs. Would not work with Chrome. Glitchy when it would work.
Cons: Hard to fix issues, Hard to install, Hard to import
