The product is sort of easy to follow; however I think it could be better. There's not enough clear instructions. If you upload PY filing as a PDF, you have to re-type a lot of info that can be carried over from PY. It could show PY amounts/elections side by side more easily. When you do a final check, it's not clear HOW to fix things - when you can override, what to right click, what to type, etc. The progress should also be auto-saved. If you buy the product YoY, why require manual uploading - have it already pre-loaded?
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

Hr block does a pretty good job at Federal Taxes, though some of its step by step routines are tedious. State taxes are largely fill in your own and HRB will do the additions. However, even at the Federal level, help is abysmal.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare

Garbage! Won't allow you to attach PDF!

Very disappointed after 10+ years of use. Upgraded for the rentals and unable to attach the safe harbor PDF where the software promised to allow me to attach putting the election in jeopardy. Zero cust .service and support, info/help center not helpful. Looked everywhere and no place to manually add.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this software in 2024 -- and have had one problem after another, relate to the software syncing with your server. Three times it would not sync, unless I deactivated the firewall, anti-virus, and deactivated any proxy servers.
