I have used this software since the 90's when it was known as TaxCut. Have been pleased with it as a whole because of its reliability and easy-to-follow interview. This year I found there were too many annoying "Data Verifications" before I could file the return. Some of these did not apply to my situation and were needless. The software was also lacking in its ability to receive data from a K-3 tax form.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

Easy to use and generally well instructed. Two of my issues needed better guidance. One was handling QCDs within my RMD. It was not clear that the package was handling the gift properly. Second, I would like to have seen my "capital gains carry over" highlighted somewhere accessible for next year's contest.
