I purchased this every year for the past few years. Easy to use. Get my taxes done in about an hour of work. Once I have things entered. The next year just update the information. Get good information If I have questions about different forms. The check at the end catches if I missed some information I needed to add. I download the program so I do not have to go to the store at all to find it.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

Have been using this software for years. Shocked to discover when preparing 2024 TR, MA state loss carryforwards did not flow through from 2022 to 2023. Had to amend 2023 and override the carryforward for 2023 and 2024.

The interview section of the Inherited IRA distribution is confusing. It resulted in me checking the wrong box in 2023 such that it fell in the non-taxable category. I caught it and have done amended returns. Thank you for making the amended return process somewhat straightforward.

Great software but Issues are hard to resolve.

I have used your software for over a decade and I am comfortable working with the software, but I forgot how much "fun" it is when it goes through the check at the end and finds issues that need to be resolved. Since these issues are presented with different looking forms it is often hard to figure out what I need to do to resolve the issue. I'm not sure how to make it happen but it would be good if a "comment" could be made as a piece of data is entered that creates a conflict.
I would recommend this to a friend!
