Where's My Money?

Software is ok to use. This year I opted to send $500 of my refund to an Amazon gift card to receive the 5% bonus. My refund was direct deposited 8 days ago but I haven't seen the email with the gift card yet. There's no way to check it's status.
Cons: Hard to fix issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I NEVER DO TAXES WITHOUT H$R BLOCK SOFTWARE. THE FIRST TIME I USED THEM I RECIEVED BACK $21.00 MORE DOLLARS BACK THAN WHAT I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN IF I WOULD HAVE FILED WITH THE PAPERS FILLED OUT WITH THE LOCAL COMPETITORS TAX OFFICE AND HAVE BEEN USING H&R BLOCK EVERY SINCE
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import, Fast
Cons: Hard to fix issues

Filing tax returns the EASY way!

I've been using this software since 2002. Each year it improves. The federal program is very accurate. The only drawback is that occasionally there are minor discrepancies in the state program (ie wrong line referenced). I will continue to use this software.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Better than turbo tax

I used turbo tax last year and tried HR block this year because it was cheaper. So glad I did! Not only is it cheaper, it's easier to use!

Limited e-filing capability

The software is good, but the experience is negative because of limiting e-filings for multiple states. I live in KS and work in MO so I have to file returns for both states. I am willing to pay for the e-filing but find it EXTREMELY frustrating that I can't e-file both states with Federal

Does what it says it does, easy to use

Used this for many years and during this time it has dealt with every situation that I had, be it investment, deduction, credit, etc. Easy to use, consistent in its user interface and cheap, I can find no downside to it. I don't care about the claim that it maximizes refund, it is up to the preparer to know what to claim, but it DOES suggest during the interview avenues that might be overlooked if you are in a first time situation.

Doesn't have searching within the data what is already filled. You can go to the form if you know the form name/number.
