Great Product

Glad I bought thjs software. I watched the H&R agent last year prepare my taxes. I figured I could do it my self this year. I have multiple sources of income that includes rental property and stock dividends and IRA's. This made it a breeze!
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import, Fast
Cons: Time consuming

HRB PROVIDED LINKS EXPLAINING ALL TYPES OF CREDITS, DEDUCTIONS WHICH HELPS WHILE YOU ARE PREPARING YOUR RETURN.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Easy to import
Cons: Time consuming

Easy to use, even for me

I have use the HR Block for many years and am extremely satisfied. The instructions are easy to understand and the help is wonderful. My wife has a home business and I am retired. We have a few investments but this program covers both her business needs and our investments. We will continue to use HR Block for years to come.

MISSING IRS FORM 4592 AND CA 3526

DOING 2014 TAXES, THE RETURN PRINT WAS MISSING IRS FORM 4592 AND CA 3526. I HAD TO PRINT THESE SEPARATELY. IF I DID NOT NOTICE THAT THESE FORMS WOULD HAVE BEEN MISSING.

I have used your software for years and have been very pleased. However, I have one complaint. On this years form I changed residences and moved out of state. I was able to change my street address but my state kept coming up as an error which I corrected but every time I went back to look at the form it reverted back to the wrong state. I could not permanently correct it. I hope my form is not rejected because of that.

Terrible printing

This problem happed on two different returns.
Won't print the 1040 form when asked to print the forms for filing. Keeps adding the 8938 form even though it's completely blank and I checked no foreign holdings/investments. When you write the file to a PDF, I didn't get all the files required for filing. When you write the file with worksheets you do get everything. Had to go in and manually select the forms to print to get a complete set.
Used HR Block software for years. Very disappointing this year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Handles complex returns with aplomb

I have a complex return with income from a disparate variety of sources and have used HR Block Premium for several years. Not only does the interview do an excellent job of correctly identifying and sorting the different sources, it has taught me how to be more efficient in recording and organizing my data through the year which makes tax preparation faster and easier. I have progressed from filing for an extension to having my refund in hand by mid-March each year.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
