Very Efficient!

I purchased this software, installed it the same day and completed my return in about two sessions. ...very efficient process. Great explanations and instructions!
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Fast

This software gets better and better every year. It is easy to use, considering it is dealing with a very complex system!

Have used H &R block for years, this is the first year software didn't pull state taxes, on paperwork, showed on section, but didn't put on form,
alright sent Fed and state. Not happy!!!!! did 4 taxes wrong and only 1 correct.
will never use this again.

Horrible experience H&R Block messed up this year

On hold for hours and couldn't resolve the known bug with form 972. tried deleting the form, program kept crashing.
Cons: Hard to fix issues, Hard to prepare

Filing more than one State Tax return is expensive. Love the thoroughness of the soft ware.

Great, but I have a recommendation

I liked the product a lot, however I had two issues.
1) If I accidentally clicked a box that would populate a form/worksheet for me I didn’t need, it was difficult to pinpoint which document that was to delete it. If a document has no entries on it, it might be safe to just auto-delete the document so it doesn’t pop up with errors.
2) When I did have errors, it was hard to find the walkthrough page that pertained to the error. Instead of overriding an entry, it would be nice to have a link that would take you directly to the corresponding walkthrough page for the error.
3) Also, there’s a lot of garbage advice on the Internet. Even with the help/advice you guys provided along the way, I still had questions. Maybe a reference link to a page on the IRS website might help people put in the correct numbers.
These fixes will definitely make customers happier in future versions. If you guys like my feedback, please feel free to send me a kickback of some sort! ;)

Ok but still not great for Landlords

I am a landlord with multiple rental properties and have over 100 items in the depreciation worksheets. While the software imports data from prior year returns, EVERY YEAR it fails to carryforward the Depreciation type used. This is extremely annoying as you aren't permitted to change the type from year to year for an item resulting in a doubling of effort to go through each item, look up last year's return and make the correct selections.
Pros: Easy to install
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
