My application has frozen immediately after E-filing my returns!!! It will not unfreeze even after rebooting my PC.

Disappointed

I have been using H&R BLOCK software for many years. I have to say some of my mindset on this rating, goes back to a corrupt software version H&R had, with my 2022 Wisconsin return, which totally wiped out all the data for my federal return, that I had already submitted to the IRS. It caused me a lot of extra stress and work. And they did not even offer me a discount for 2023. In doing my return for 2023, I had a lot of trouble with claiming my minimum 401K income, and finally deleted it. Otherwise, it was good software.
Pros: Easy to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good, but not Excellent

I just finished filing my 2023 federal and state returns. Why not all the required forms are dealt with in the interview, I will never understand. Yes, it's complicated, but that's why I buy the software in the first place. And that items for verification do not disappear off the verification list after they have been reviewed is really annoying and makes you uncertain about the accuracy. - I think I will try Turbotax next year.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not user friendly Not straightforward

I had to use this software package, and it was definitely not as good even compared to the website version of H&R Block premium.
Cons: Hard to import documents

Its functional but not very flexible

If you've used this tool before doing, completing your taxes can be relatively simple. However some of the error checking has proven problematic and inaccurate. Also, would really like to have the option to have the ability to only e-file state as opposed to the burdensome process currently of only having the capability to e-file both at the same time.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very simple and easy to follow features

I normally buy it when it's offered initially at a better price. It does all the calculations and points out if any errors are made and gives me the best refund that I am eligible for.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good but quirky

I've used HR Block tax software for years but you have to manually check all inputs. This year (2023) it initially did not carry over my IRA withdrawal income to my State (Alabama) forms and I had to manually override that field. A later update must have fixed this but they never mentioned it in any update notifications. Each update needs to provide a list of what was changed or fixed.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Makes it easy to get the job done.

I've been using your software for years. I find it clear and logical for the most part. This is the first time I e-filed. Both of my returns were accepted. I want to pay my federal taxes with a credit card. I can't find instructions on how to do that.
Pros: Easy to prepare
