The HR Block package is far more user friendly than the equivalant Turbo Tax package. The process is less not weighed down with jargin and technical terms. But like every tax package I have tried it has the same failing. When I reviewed the results and found an error it was difficult to correct the error. Ist because of the mini work sheets and then I had to find the source document to make the correction. Why can't the correction be made on the final document and then the program makes the correction on the source document?
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

A child that can read is able to follow the instructions with this. H&R software is straight forward and easy to use. I choose this over other tax software because of the secure file, accuracy, transfer , and backup if you need to consult with a H&R agent.

For the most part it is the same as the bigger companies, but this year is made mistakes on the State program that has caused some issurs.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
