For more than 20 years, I've been happy with H&R Block. This year, the interface is harder to navigate, so I had to start over three times. The wizard did not work properly to collect stimulus payments information correctly. It was with justified concern that I submitted what turned out to be an improperly calculated return. There is no way I can recommend the software now.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

Crap, does not contain same forms as last year, cannot use it to file with COVID IRA deferal, cannot efile extensions this year. I have used since the start and second year I have been screwed will not use again.

Great product however there is a program flaw which prevents you from attaching the “safe harbor” form prior to sending the tax return to the IRS.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to import documents
