Nice features, very good help files

This ended up being what Block gave me after a complete fiasco with my usual online filing due to a software glitch no one could fix in Block's online program. I was happy to not have the same problems as before and even more impressed with how well the software performed.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

Poor result for Maryland state return for e-filing

For a volunteer firefighter there is a $6,500 subtraction for LOSAP. In e-filing I understood that there would be an opportunity to submit the required LOASP form either before or just after hitting the e-file submit button but no such opportuning resulted. I am concerned that my return will be rejected because the required form did not accompany the Maryland state filing. In the future, I think I am better off submitting a printed copy of the return with the required form and not e-filing!
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy and Complete as usual... I feel confident and happy to have taxes filed and with help along the way. Had a few confusing things happen at end of process that needed attention and didn't seem to make sense, but it could have been last minute filing traffic or my own oversights in panic mode, not sure.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Highly recommend H&R Block tax software. I have used it for 10+ years. First it's reliable, well informed on tax rules. Secondly they update it frequently to keep it fresh.

I hate this software. It mixes personal and rental props all together and makes mistakes. If i over ride, I cant send in electronically. SUCKS.
Cons: Time consuming

Tax calculation failures!!!!!

Failed to calculate taxes correctly on Fed 1040 and then also in the Nebraska 1040N forms. WARNING!!! Do manual tax calculations based on 1040 line 15 Taxable Income amount to verify the software tax owed displayed on line 16. Manually verify Nebraska 1040N line 17 is carried correctly to line 29 after the tax credit calculations. WARNING!!!
Cons: Hard to prepare
