Great product

I purchased this software every year. This is my second time use e-file for the state. I didn't see the small print to use my state pin. It would be a great help if you link the website to retrieve your pins. I don't find the link until I print out the rejection report.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

I really love that I can use ONE software package for both my S-Corp and my personal taxes. I have other 1099-NEP income I receive and it is great that, unlike the other guys, I don't have to purchase two separate software packages for all my business and personal tax needs.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worthless product and tech "support"

After spending many hours inputting information into the program, I called tech support for help with a glitch with e-filing. After an hour and a half, the first tech transferred me to a higher level of tech who might have the knowledge to solve the problem. I waited two hours for this person and spent three hours total on the call. The program and tech support are a waste of time and energy.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good, intuitive software

After confusion and frustration trying a competing tax program, this has been a great, easy job. The forms and explanations, and help made this an easy task.

The most features are great except one.

I liked the most feasures of H&R Block Premium 2021 Software. However, I could not import my E*TRADE SECURITIES three accounts of 1099-B. It says: "Your import was unsuccessful. Try again later or enter your tax information mannually from your paper documents.
Error code: 2000". Please improve this.

So hard to use

This product is horrible. It's not user friendly, wouldn't let me efile multiple states. my tax lawyer couldn't even figure it out. would not recommend this to anyone.

Easy to use, but...

Easy to use, but an apparent programming error caused my state return to be rejected. My state (Illinois) allows the use of last year's federal AGI as a signature confirmation for an electronic submission. The program automatically filled in the number from Line 9 of my federal return instead of Line 11 which it should have used. The program told me to verify that number, which I did, but I still trusted it to be right (instead of going with my head and over-riding the entry). Today I resubmitted the form with the correct federal AGI (over-riding the automatic entry). We'll see.

Easy to use, overall.

I use this software every year. It is mostly easy to use. Some of the questions are confusing or misleading, but you can click on the help buttons and it helps explain it better. I do wish they would start including Form 8911, for EV charging units credits, though.
I would recommend this to a friend!
