Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

I have been using this software for over ten years and never had an issue In addition to preparing my return I also prepare the returns for two of my kids, my sister-in-law and my god daughter

Shame on you for not providing free State filings! For what you charge for your product, you should be able to allow the customer to file it at no cost!

It would not file my federal taxes on line gave me an error message said call tech support. no phone number on activate card in sodtware or on line.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product; however I'm quite unhappy

I tried twice to file my taxes last night and both time the IRS rejected it stating the pin I entered was incorrect. Well guess where I got the pin yesterday? If you guessed it was/is the IRS then you would be correct. I have a copy of the document that they said I could attach; however where can I attach it? How the heck can I get any HELP.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Barely gets you by

I've had to struggle using HR Block software because my computer isn't new enough to use TurboTax, which I used for years. The interface on HRB software is not elegant, it's clunky. It gets you by, and last year, it was adequate. But this year, I found it doesn't contain a certain state form that I required. So, as I discovered this going through the filing portion in the software, for a minute, it clearly laid out for me what forms I would need, along with what other supporting paper I would need to send through the mail to my state Dept of Rev. Sadly, I did not write down that info. Because when I plodded through the program again, later, to find that list, it did not show up, no matter what I did. I did find the right form, but, originally, I was told I'd need all sorts of 1099s. Now I'm left to figure it out on my own what my state requires me to send in for supporting documents. This should not be.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As always, I like the software. However, the recovery rebate section was a disappointment that you did not have more help. i.e. "Enter the sum (if married sum of both) letters to the box. Might have avoided an amended return. And thankfully the software assisted with that too which was super helpful.
