Unusable on my M1 MacBook

I have used H&R Block for many years, but it isn't useable on my M1 MacBook. I entered all of my data and answered all of the questions, but can't print my return properly. When I print, it prints in huge letters and the forms run off the right-hand side of the page. That is, it prints only about the left-hand two-thirds of the page, with the other third (all of the numbers) chopped off, so there is no way you can file the printed return.
Printing to PDF does exactly the same thing, so the software is unusable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had some problems

1 - I had four 1099-R forms to enter and only one required me to put in an amount for the state distribution when the form I was inputting did not have an amount.
2 - I wanted to efile my both the federal and state forms, but I could only do the federal form. WHEN I tried to efile the state form, it switched to the federal after checking for completeness. I was able to get the state form filled for mailing, but the process did not seem very easy.

horrible software

Used desktop download. 1 program kept crashing for 2 months - had to file on paper. I found an error in my state program. 800 number finally agreed there was an error and gave me a case number. To date they haven't fixed it and when I call for a status update; I'm put on hold and after 30-60 minute wait, I'm disconnected.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It works great for me. I think understand the tax language also helps.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Easy to use for the most part

I have always loved using HRB products. I would suggest that you make it easier to go back to specific areas and make changes rather than trying to figure out how to get to a certain page to enter additional information. Maybe have "Income" & " Credits & Deductions" as headers and allow us to choose from the list of items in a drop down list.

Premium and Business needs to be on MAC

I would give this a much higher rating, but this program (Premium and Business) has not been released for MAC. It is absurd that in 2022, that option is not available. I have to keep an old Windows laptop around just for doing taxes once a year.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare

Very Awful Program

I bought this program to do my 2021 taxes and the program kept crashing every other minute and would not save what I entered so I kept having to go back and enter information.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
